The Educational Philosophy of 153

153 World Christian School, Rooted in Christ-Centered Biblical Values

153 World Christian School is a Christian alternative school that places Christ-centered biblical education as its highest priority.

Rather than being a school focused solely on exam preparation,

we value and nurture the unique talents God has given each student and the journey of discovering those gifts.

We do not see students simply as numbers, but like the 153 different kinds of fish in the Sea of Galilee, each student is encouraged to express their own individuality, freely swim, learn, and grow. Our school aims to be a spiritual ecosystem that embraces diverse students with open hearts.

Grounded in God’s Word, 153 World Christian School has established five core goals that guide and shape all learning experiences.

Grounded in God’s Word, 153 World Christian School has established five core goals that guide and shape all learning experiences.

A faithful child lives by God’s Word and trusts in His guidance in all situations. They strive to act according to Scripture in their choices, studies, and relationships, and deepen their connection with God through prayer and worship. Faith is not just knowledge but a way of life, giving them strength and stability in their inner being. Such a child lives with a clear identity and purpose as a child of God, even in a shifting world.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

<Proverbs 3:5>

2. Respectful

Respectful child

A respectful child remembers that every person is created in God’s image and treats both self and others with dignity. They practice courtesy and consideration in their words and actions and learn to communicate peacefully across differences. Even in conflict, they seek to understand others and pursue reconciliation, building relationships rooted in love. They become a channel of blessing, extending the respect they’ve received to those around them.

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

<James 1:19>

3. Creative

Creative child

A creative child discovers the unique talents and imagination gifted by God and learns to view the world through new perspectives. They go beyond memorizing answers, asking questions and forming ideas that reflect their own insights. Without fear of failure, they experiment and explore in ways that mirror the creative image of God. Creativity becomes a powerful tool—not only in art, but in all learning, truth-seeking, and transformation of the world for good.

He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.

<Exodus 35:31>

4. Passionate

Passionate child

A passionate child values their God-given purpose and strives for excellence in every area of life. They see learning not as a task but as an opportunity to glorify God, approaching it with sincerity and focus. They persevere through failure, inspiring others with positive energy and commitment. This passion drives them toward God’s vision and empowers them to be salt and light in the world.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

<Romans 12:11>

5. Serving

Serving child

A serving child, like Jesus, puts others before themselves and embraces a heart willing to give in even the smallest things. They look after those in need and embody the gospel by practicing love in words and deeds. Service involves humility, generosity, and sacrifice—it is a lifestyle that reflects the values of God’s kingdom. Such a child lives with selflessness in a self-centered world, becoming a vessel of God’s love.

Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.

<Matthew 20:26>
